WHAT IS CELEBRATED ON JANUARY 9: How is life truly lived in the symbol of freedom?

"Complete freedom exists only in nature. The river flows there, the hill is here, the mountain is here, the grass has grown here, it's happening here... That's the complete freedom," explained Željka Cvijanović, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the Serbian people's ranks (SNSD), back in the distant year of 2018.

It was the year when a twenty-one-year-old student from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, David Dragičević, was brutally murdered in Banja Luka. "Someone" from the police structures got out of control, mutilated the young man, and threw his body into the sewage stream of Crkvena, at the confluence with the Vrbas River. David was declared a drug addict, a conflict-prone young man, a robber who first eats a burek and then turns the house in the neighbourhood where he grew up upside down. Members of his family, who sought the truth on the streets and what justice could be obtained, were declared agents of foreign influence, traitors, and destroyers of the Republic of Srpska, and the body of the unfortunate young man was moved across the border!

Yet, some other young men are considered role models. From a dad sitting on the credit committee of the Investment-Development Bank of RS, who happens to be the prime minister of the Republic of Srpska at that moment, they get a "loan" of three million KM. They never repay it, but the prime minister's dad is proud because he has kept his son Igor off the streets with millions. To prevent him from using drugs!

QUOTES ABOUT FREEDOM

At the beginning of 2024, absolute freedom received something like an official slogan - "the symbol of freedom." In reality, it has been so all these years only for those who unquestionably accepted and still accept the orders of the prime minister, the president, a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Daddy Milorad Dodik.

In the heart of Europe, in the 21st century, absolute freedom absolutely does not exist for, for example, other citizens. In March of last year, the regime's army on social media, led by self-proclaimed journalists and the intellectual elite, called for violence against a group of LGBT activists staying in Banja Luka. Previously, in a closed space, the airing of a film about the human rights and freedoms of others and the differences was banned. None of the attackers, fans, and hooligans were ever called for an informative conversation, let alone arrested. On the other hand, activists were interrogated for hours at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RS and then expelled from the "symbol of freedom." To Sarajevo.

"There you can do anything," they were told.

After them, journalists came into focus. But only those who inquire, write, and publish about the crime and corruption of the rulers. Threats and the most vile insults were replaced by criminal complaints because, in the "symbol of freedom," one man and those who follow him interpret what is true and what is not. Defamation is a criminal offence. Soon, because it is not enough to be Soros-backed and foreign mercenaries, they will also be declared agents of foreign influence, spies. Traitors have long been!

Returnees are almost on the agenda. In Derventa, in mid-December, Marko Mišić (68) was beaten. He died from the injuries sustained. The public reaction to the brutally interrupted life in the symbol of freedom was absent. Christmas, the most joyful Christian holiday, a celebration of love, forgiveness, and prayer, is celebrated tumultuously. The most tumultuous in Vlasenica and Potočari.

"Get up, balije," they will shout from a vehicle under police escort, and then fire bursts in front of the homes of frightened Bosniaks.

And they will be "arrested," but the local priest Aleksandar Mlađenović and the mayor of Srebrenica Mladen Grujičić will organise protests because "police reaction is suppressing the religious freedom of Serbs, Orthodox Christians." The dehumanization of others and other nations is justified, even desirable.

In the "symbol of freedom," the official name of the entity Republic of Srpska within the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, freedom will only be mentioned. Not lived! The announced electoral law of RS, according to which local and general elections will be organized, will be the guarantor of that. Milorad Dodik has decided to expel the Central Election Commission of BiH. He intends to rule like that. And rules. And rules. Lifelong.

QUOTES ABOUT DIGITALIZATION

On the solemn day of the "symbol of freedom," which is also the unconstitutional day of RS, citizens should be reminded of several other facts:

Nearly a billion convertible marks have been invested in the digitalization of everything existing in what is called institutions from various budgets so far. What did the people get? Something like a joke. Expensive and painful.

Officials from the Tax Administration of RS used official emails to respond to classified ads, social networks, and websites of a very entertaining nature. The result – pure entertainment. Citizens' data is currently being sold on the black market.

An incredible 26 million KM has been invested in the electronic healthcare system. Hackers, said the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of RS, Alen Šeranić, were in the system for months. Now the servers are blocked, and the insured individuals' data is compromised. Officials are silent about it because, realistically, citizens are just a voting body, budget chargers, vote for national outcry when the regime wants it. And nothing more.

Other RS institutions were inaccessible for days in 2023. Like true patriots, local government representatives did not want to use the state domain ".ba." They opted for ".net." But alas, it is owned by an American company, and the entity's leadership is on the black American list. Virtually, like heroes from hero to hero, they fled across the border to Serbia. The domain ".rs." Just like 30 years ago when other people's children were dying in the trenches, and they were hiding in the thick background.

QUOTES ABOUT SUCCESS

"The symbol of freedom" is accumulating debt day by day. Through bonds issued by the RS Government on stock exchanges, loans from the "proven friend," Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, and loans from, also, Chinese friends, we have reached a figure of several hundred million convertible marks. The total debt of freedom is 6.7 billion KM. Milorad Dodik must find a billion this year, another the next, and 1.5 billion KM in 2026 for creditors.

The healthcare system, also managed by Dodik's SNSD, is in complete collapse. In the largest healthcare institution in RS, no one talks about the total debt, although a few years ago, it was 320 million KM. In a moment of honesty, then-Prime Minister Radovan Višković admitted that the health sector owed over a billion KM. Banja Luka Mayor Draško Stanivuković claims that, thanks to the first doctor of the University Clinical Center RS, Vlado Đajić, "no angiography room for patients in pre-infarction and infarction conditions is working, so they are referred to Prijedor or Bijeljina." Additionally, at least twice a year, due to non-payment of taxes and contributions, healthcare workers and other employees in this institution are not entitled to treatment. The Health Insurance Fund of RS covers everything.

"We get treatment. Of course, a doctor friend helps another doctor," one of them will say to the Journal.

"So, who pays for all this," we asked.

"Well, you, citizens. That's why, when you go to the hospital, you buy medicines, bandages... Everything they tell you to bring," he concluded without any surprise.

Đajić doesn't deny it, but sings suggestively: "While in sweat, somewhere tonight you're caressing anyone, I'd be a rug again that you tread on."

Draško Stanivuković also recklessly spent money from the city budget on various items. Socially vulnerable citizens did not receive the money due to them by law. Even city administration workers did not receive salaries. He blamed the SNSD parliamentary majority for not adopting the budget rebalance for everything. However, logically, in high school, you don't learn that the budget is planned for 12 months and that worker salaries are not a matter of budget rebalance. It seems that social unrest is just ahead of the New Year's ribbon he hung on the City Administration building without a prior tender.

Professors also don't receive salaries. These payments are within the competence of the RS Government. But, in the "symbol of freedom," there's simply no money.

Meanwhile, on Jahorina, the mountain for the elite, the same government will invest 20 million KM in hotel renovation. Previously, this black hole, from which even the prime minister's daughter-in-law Ivana Višković shares how she relaxes on social media, swallowed almost 300 million KM. It is currently on the verge of bankruptcy!

The throat dries up as one reads about the benefits of the "symbol of freedom," but no one needs to worry. The RS Government is standing on the homeland's defence. They will moisten themselves exclusively with Milorad Dodik's product, "Grandpa's brandy." With a good drop, problems are easier to sweep under the rug.
