The Minister of Health of Republika Srpska, Alen Šeranić, can say a lot about being put on the list of those sanctioned by the United States of America, but he did not know what he was doing about proposing and adopting the law establishing the entity Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices.
In October last year, the National Assembly of Republika Srpska adopted the Law on Medicines and Medical Devices of the RS by urgent procedure, proposed by the line minister Alen Šeranić. The law revokes the authority of the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH and transfers it to the future entity.
Šeranić, just like Dodik and Prime Minister Radovan Višković and other ministers, MPs, hospital directors, knew that the reason for founding the entity agency was not only to abolish one state institution but also to cover up the crime of unauthorized trade and use of industrial oxygen for treatment of patients instead of the legally prescribed medical oxygen.
After it was discovered 9 months ago that health institutions in Republika Srpska use industrial oxygen instead of medical oxygen to treat patients, frightened by the possible reaction of the public, the government of this entity and hospital directors place the blame of everything on - the state Drug Agency !?
Let us remind you, in a letter to the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of BiH, Minister Šeranić warns the director Aleksandar Zolak about the perniciousness of the claim which calls into question the correctness of oxygen.
"As a health worker and director of an institution that, like the Ministry, I lead, must focus on protecting the health of citizens, you are expected to participate in finding a solution to overcome the problem, which is evident not only in Republika Srpska, but also in the Federation of BiH, potentially affecting all people", writes Šeranić.
That is how Šeranić sought to overcome the problems, which he and Dodik and the rest of the entourage claimed did not exist!?
A consistent and independent investigation into the degree of purity of the oxygen used to treat patients would result in indictments, but this is how they tried to practically decriminalize everything that happened.
"Entnationalist parties cannot compromise the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the detriment of its citizens", US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, said in a statement following the announcement of newly sanctioned BiH politicians Alen Šeranić and Federation President Marinko Čavara.
The RS Minister of Health would be happy just to end up on US sanctions for everything that he did. However, if the day comes for the prosecutors to disobey Dodik, Alen Šeranić and the others will be with Dodik again "side by side", only this time on the defendant’s bench.
And what kind of crime was committed against patients, see in the Žurnal’s film "Oxygen, life or death?".
